Clay Pigeon Shooting

Whacky Sports events and activities cater for a wide variety of leisure pursuits and experiences. A popular activity is clay pigeon shooting where our experienced instructors will set up different shooting positions using the elusive clay pigeon to simulate different birds.

A Popular Group Activity

Clay pigeon shooting or skeet shooting as it is often referred to, uses mechanical traps to fire two clay target discs into the line of fire in quick succession. With a double-barrel shotgun, the skill is to hit both clays with one cartridge each. It is challenging, fun, and competitive, which accounts for its popularity as a group activity. Once you get into the swing of it, there is nothing more satisfying that taking both clays at difficult angles, speeds and heights.

Safety Is Our Top Priority In This Team Event

Once we have taught you how to safely handle the shotgun and the techniques needed to achieve a hit such as 'leading' the clay, you'll be able to compete with the other members of your group. Hitting the clays is extremely satisfying! High-low, left-right combinations that will test every skill you've be taught.

We aim to make your clay target shooting not only extremely good fun, but also a challenge. Pit your skills against friends and colleagues in this test of concentration, precision and timing.
